Spectacular Fireworks Show Staged to Greet China Space Day

On the evening of April 23, a spectacular fireworks show was staged at Orange Isle Fireworks Square in Changsha to greet this year’s China Space Day, which falls on April 24. It was an important China Space Day cultural activity. It was hosted by the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee and the Changsha Municipal People’s Government. The audience included more than 500 senior UN officials; important foreign guests; academicians and experts, scholars, and heads of space agencies in the field of aerospace from home and abroad; and leaders from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China.The fireworks further demonstrated the main theme of “Developing Space Industry and Building a Powerful Country in Space”, promoted Changsha’s image, and strengthened international exchanges.
