Asia’s First “Three-in-one” Bridge Completed

The photo, taken on May 9, shows the newly completed Jishou Art Museum Bridge in Qianzhou Ancient Town, Jishou City. The museum is a combination of museum and bridge. It adopts bi-layer beam. The upper concrete bridge can be used as a small exhibition hall. The bridge deck on the steel truss girder provides a space for a large exhibition hall; and, the deck under the girder is a foot bridge. Such a “three-in-one” design is the first case of its kind in Asia.
