Flower Planting Boosts Rural Tourism in Longshan County

On June 9, farmers picked flowers in Laochang Village, Maoping Township, Longshan County. In recent years, more than 10 kinds of flowers such as lily, guelder rose, and sunflower were planted here, since the local soil and climate were quite suitable for flower growth. Flower planting also facilitated rural tourism. Many visitors often came here to view flowers. Flower products were also sold to Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and other places. (Photo/Zeng Xianghui)
