A 6-city joint photography exhibition to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China opened in Yueyang on June 30. Five hundred photographers and distinguished guests from six Hunan’s cities attended the opening ceremony. There are 70 images by 70 photographers on display.
Concentrating on the love of the motherland, the photographers toured around Hunan to observe changes and urban development that took place in every city after the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The images showcased Hunan’s notable achievements in all walks of life, especially during the 40 years of reform and opening up.

2019 marks the 70th founding anniversary of the People’s Republic of China. In order to present Hunan’s 70-year development, the Photographers Associations in Hunan’s six cities and the Hunan Xingchen Image and New Media Co., Ltd. launched this photography exhibition to show Hunan’s urban development, cultural heritage, and people’s increasingly improved livelihood.
The exhibition was supervised by the Hunan Photographers Association, and organized by the Photographers Associations in Changsha, Yueyang, Xiangtan, Changde, Zhangjiajie, and Yongzhou.
