To enjoy Chinese Valentine's Day in Meihua Village, Hengyang City

In Meihua Village, Xidu Town, Hengyang County, 18,000 sunflowers are blooming. They become a beautiful scenery in the countryside now, and people can enjoy a romantic Qixi Festival, the traditional Chinese Valentine's Day, on August 7.

Last year, Meihua Village had a pastoral project for planting more than 30 acres of sunflowers and Gesang flowers. Now it has entered the full bloom period. It is expected that the flowering period will last until this September. Besides sunflowers, watermelons, melons, grapes, pears, and other fruits are planted here, which form a beautiful rural scenery with “four seasons of flowers and four seasons of fruits”. It is a good place for the general public to enjoy pastoral scenery.
