Hunan’s NEV Industry Development Accelerates

The photo, taken on August 14, shows technicians assemble new-generation smart electric crossover vehicles at the BYD Changsha factory. So far, Hunan has 13 new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturers, including BYD Changsha, Zotye Auto Changsha factory, CRRC Electric Vehicle, and Changfeng Group; and, a battery material industrial cluster with the widest range of products in China. A complete NEV industrial chain has formed. Between January and May this year, the province’s NEV output increased by 622.13% over the same period last year.
