Selenium-rich Agriculture Developed to Help Increase Farmers’ Income

  The photo, taken on September 3, shows villagers selling selenium-rich chili peppers at Fuxi Village, Zhuquan Town, Jiahe County. Now more than 6,000 mu (400 ha.) of selenium-rich chili pepper enter harvest season in Zhuquan, Guangfa, and Tanping towns. Local processing enterprises came to the towns to purchase agricultural products, which helps increase farmers’ income.
