Hunan TCM Team Visits Austria, Portugal

　　A Hunan traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) team visited Austria and Portugal between August 23 and September 1, 2019. It was entrusted by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, and organized by the Hunan Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and the Changsha Overseas Chinese Affairs Office. The members provided free health consultation and treatments for local Chinese; imparted TCM healthcare knowledge, and exchanged views with local TCM practitioners. They were warmly welcomed by overseas Chinese.

　　The event was strongly supported by the Hunan University of Chinese Medicine and Changsha Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. They selected 6 well-known TCM experts to provide free health consultation and treatments for overseas Chinese living in Austria and Portugal and held two lectures on TCM healthcare knowledge. The team also talked with oversea Chinese representatives. They exchanged ideas on the economic and social development of Hunan Province and Changsha City in recent years and expected the overseas Chinese to play their unique role as a bridge linking Chinese and international friends. Their active participation would greatly promote the friendly exchanges and cooperation between Hunan Province and the countries of Austria and Portugal in various fields.
