The connection and tracks laying of Datang Station to Yuhua District Government Station were completed for the first phase of the Changsha Metro Line 5 project. According to Changsha Rail Transit Group on September 16, all the workers for constructing Metro Line 5 are working overtime for completing the project, and they are striving to achieve the trial operation on December 30 this year. The initial operation will be on July the next year.
