Changsha Metro Line 5 to begin trial run by the end of 2019

Under smooth construction since the late 2015, Changsha metro line 5 is estimated to begin trial run by the end of 2019 and trial operation by July 2020.

Changsha metro line 5 is a backbone line from Yuhua district in the south to Changsha county in the north. There are 18 stations, including 7 stations for transfer, namely, Bantangchong station, Tangzhan road station, Guitang station, Furong District Government station, Wanjiali Square station, Yinjiawan station and Yuehu Park north station.
