HFROC launches an activity sending the medical care to Xiangxi

Huang Fang, secretary of the Party Committee of Hunan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and Guo Jianhong, deputy inspector, led Party members to Leigong Village and Shibadong Village, Huayuan County, Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture. The activity“Love from Overseas Chinese” aims at sending medical aids to Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture.

At the launching ceremony of the activity, Huang Fang pointed out that this year is the key year for Hunan to win the fight against poverty. Basic medical care is a very important part of poverty alleviation. With the support of the Chinese Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the associations of provinces, cities, and universities have sent medicines and held cultural activities for poverty alleviation.
