Tigist Teshome Ayasu, an Ethiopian contestant, won the female championship in 2 hours, 31 minutes and 43 seconds.

2019 Changsha International Marathon Contest was successfully held on a raining day, October 27. Abdi Asefa Kebede, an Ethiopian contestant, won the male championship in 2 hours, 10 minutes and 23 seconds. Tigist Teshome Ayasu, an Ethiopian contestant, won the female championship in 2 hours, 31 minutes and 43 seconds.

In an interview after the game, Abdi said, "I am very satisfied with the game and my status today. Changsha is a very beautiful city. in the process of running, a lot of people cheer us up, and I feel very warm."

2019 Changsha International Marathon Contest started at the Helong Sports Center At 7:30 on October 27. 24,000 runners from 15 countries and regions gathered in Changsha showing their style in a happy running of the marathon.
