National Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition Opens in Changsha

　　The photo, taken on November 26, shows calligraphy amateurs appreciate calligraphy works. The 12th National Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition opened at the Hunan Art Museum that day. This is Hunan’s first national level exhibition of its kind.

　　It is hosted by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC) and China Calligraphers Association (CCA), and organized by the Hunan Department of Culture and Tourism, Hunan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the Changsha Municipal People’s Government.

　　Zhang Hongsen, standing committee member and director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, delivered a speech. CCA Chairperson Su Shishu announced the opening of the exhibition. CFLAC and CCA Vice Chairperson Chen Zhenlian was present.

　　A total of 361 calligraphy works, in regular script and seal script styles, are being exhibited.

　　The exhibition will open to the public until December 16. During this period, seven serial calligraphy exhibitions will be held at the Hunan Calligraphers Association, Hunan Academy of Calligraphy, and Hunan Museum.
