Liu Qian: spreading Chinese culture in Argentina

The 18th Conference of Returned Overseas Chinese and Their Family Members of Hunan province was held Nov. 28, in Changsha, capital of central China's Hunan province. In recent years, the vast number of returned overseas Chinese of Hunan province, and their family members made efforts to speed up the construction of a rich, beautiful and happy Hunan province with their patriotism and love of the native land.

Liu Qian is the executive chairman of the Argentine Federation of Chinese culture and art, president of the club of Argentine culture and Chinese business, and an overseas member of Hunan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese

Liu is known as the first person to spread Chinese culture in Argentina. In 1991, she cooperated with Berfer, the largest media group in Argentina, to create the TV program "5000 years of China ". Since then, she has become a well-known scholar spreading Chinese culture in Argentina.

In 2010, she was invited by the Shanghai World Expo as a security adviser for South America. The Chinese embassy in Argentina recommended her to participate in various important activities organized by the Overseas Chinese office of the State Council and the Chinese Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese.

Over the years, Liu has devoted herself to promoting Chinese culture in Argentina, such as Chinese culture and art, traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese health preservation, which have been covered by local media. She will introduce Hunan's cultural and tourism industry, local conditions and customs in Argentina.
