The 8th Hunan Conference of Returned Overseas Chinese held in Changsha

Du Jiahao, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the standing committee of Hunan People's Congress, presented honors to advanced individuals of returned overseas Chinese and their families, along with other leaders including Xu Dazhe, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of Hunan province, and Li Weiwei, chairman of Hunan People's Political Consultative Conference.

On behalf of the China Federation of overseas Chinese, Sui Jun, a representative of Hunan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, expressed warm congratulations on the opening ceremony of the conference. She said that CPC Hunan provincial committee and Hunan government attach great importance to the work of the federation and always care about and support its development.

Wu Lan thanked returned overseas Chinese and their families for their contributions over the years in Hunan, and she affirmed the work of Hunan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese.

Huang Fang, secretary of CPC committee of the Hunan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, presided over the conference.

More than 700 people from relevant departments of Hunan province, organizations, delegates to the congress, overseas Chinese and special guests attended the conference.
