Top 10 regions in China with highest R&D input

A total of 14 provincial level regions in China have had their research and development expenditure exceed 50 billion yuan ($7.14 billion) as of 2018, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics.

Regions, especially in China's coastal areas, speeded their industrial upgrade and invested heavily in R&D.

Let's take a look at the top 10 regions in China with the highest R&D input in 2018.

No 10:Hunan
