Nowadays, the epidemic situation in Australia is severe. The australasian Hunan general chamber of commerce, Australia Hunan Fellow association and Australia Hunan youth association jointly set up a volunteer team to fight the epidemic together and support each other.
In early April, the family of an overseas Chinese of Hunan nationality needed to be quarantined due to the epidemic. As the other family members of the overseas Chinese were all westerners, the different protection concepts and understandings brought great difficulties to daily life. Chen Yadong, president of Oceania Hunan general chamber of commerce, learned of the situation, immediately called the husband of the overseas Chinese to send warmth and advice. Meanwhile, Chen Yadong has set up an emergency WeChat group, including medical professionals, volunteers and other fellow, to provide warm advice and help to the family under the premise of protecting privacy.
Chen Yadong helped relay protection materials to the home of the overseas Chinese. "I am really grateful to all my brothers and sisters for their timely help," the overseas Chinese said. "I will never forget their kindness today, and will cherish it and repay it."
The assisting in prevention by Australasia Hunan general chamber of commerce, Australia Hunan Fellow association and Australia Hunan Youth association is still in progress. There is a long list of names on the waiting list.
