Panyun Data and China Telecom build a new data center

Hunan Panyun Data and China Telecom held China Telecom Panyun data center opening ceremony and new data center seminar.

Recently, Hunan Panyun Data，an overseas Chinese enterprise in Changsha, and China Telecom held China Telecom Panyun data center opening ceremony and new data center seminar. Huang Fang, secretary of Hunan FOC attended the event.

China telecom, Huawei, Panyun Data and a number of ecological cooperation enterprise in cloud data attended the ceremony. They agreed that issuing such as construction of new infrastructure would jointly promote the 5g era of big data exchange and the cooperation, aswell as promote the development of Hunan.

Located in Yuelu High-tech Zone, Changsha, China Telecom Panyun Big Data Center is jointly built by Panyun Data and China Telecom Hunan. The total construction area is about 24,000 square meters, providing 12MW data center resources and 3,368 business cabinets. With cloud infrastructure as the core, the center provides big data storage, backup, delivery, computing and other services.

As one of the seven fields of "new infrastructure", big data center is an important carrier of artificial intelligence, industrial Internet and other new-generation information technologies. It is also an important aspect of stable investment, steady growth and domestic demand expansion after coVID-19 epidemic. At the opening ceremony, Panyun Data and China Telecom Hunan Company signed a contract with Huawei, planning to build a new generation of data center innovation base in Changsha, promote the innovation and upgrading of the data center industry chain, "make data storage more simple".
