Since June, the Guide National Geological Park boasting colorful Danxia landform on the upper reach of the Yellow River has entered its peak tourism season, in Guide county of Hainan Tibetan autonomous prefecture, Northwest China's Qinghai province. The establishment of the geopark 11 years ago helps preserve the wonder of nature as it has stopped the locals from collecting red earth from the eroded hills as a kind of building material.
