Chinese Herbal Industry Helps Health-oriented Poverty Alleviation

On July 7, the Association of Chinese Medicinal Medicine of Xinhuang Dong Autonomous County and the Xinhuang Rhizoma Polygonati (RP) Industry Association organized Chinese herbal medicine growers and poverty-stricken households to learn popular science, epidemic prevention, and other health knowledge through live stream in Huanan Village, Yushi Town. On the same day, the 2020 China’s healthy villages large-scale charity activity kicked off online. The traditional Chinese medicine project in the activity will support 14 contiguous poverty-stricken areas in the county to develop Chinese medicine industry.
