This year marks the 30th anniversary of the promulgation of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of The Rights and Interests of Returned Overseas Chinese and Their Families (hereinafter referred to as the Law for Overseas Chinese). The 2nd "Overseas Chinese Business Cup" Legal knowledge Competition, sponsored by China Federation of Overseas Chinese and National Office of Justice Popularization, has recently started online, inviting returned Overseas Chinese and family members of overseas Chinese, overseas Chinese, cadres of national Federation of Overseas Chinese at all levels, people from all walks of life who care about overseas Chinese law and overseas Chinese affairs to participate in the competition. The 30 years since the promulgation of the Law on Overseas Chinese have also witnessed China's deepening reform and opening up. For Sun Yunsun, secretary-general of the Overseas Chinese Federation in Li 'ao Street, Ouhai District, Wenzhou city, Zhejiang Province, the format of the "overseas Chinese Law" knowledge competition is not new. In 2018, the Standing Committee of Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress passed and promulgated the Regulations of Zhejiang Province on The Protection of The Rights and Interests of Overseas Chinese (hereinafter referred to as the Protection Regulations).
