Li Zuyuan, member of the Leading Party group and vice chairman of HunanFOC, met with a delegation from The Lao Hunan Chamber of Commerce

On September 2, Li Zuyuan, member of the Leading Party group and vice chairman of Hunan FOC, met with the delegation of The Lao Hunan Chamber of Commerce and exchanged views on the development of the Chamber of Commerce and listened to relevant reports.

Li Wenke, President of The Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Laos, thanked the Federation for its care and assistance during the epidemic, adding that with the gradual easing of the epidemic, overseas Chinese in Laos will basically resume normal life. The Hunan Chamber of Commerce will continue to care about and serve Lao Xiang overseas Chinese, protect their legitimate rights and interests, and let them feel the warmth of the Chamber of Commerce and the chamber of Commerce.

Li Zuyuan spoke highly of the Lao Hunan Chamber of Commerce's initiative to actively serve fellows in Hunan and thanked the chamber for its great assistance of epidemic prevention materials at the critical moment of epidemic control in Hunan. He said that Laos is an important country along the "One Belt And One Road" route, and the chamber of commerce should play an active role in extensively contacting overseas Chinese, strengthening contacts with the Chinese embassy in Laos, promoting economic, scientific, technological and cultural exchanges between Laos and hunan and China, and serving the construction of "One Belt And One Road" and serving as a "bridgehead". At the same time, the chamber should adhere to the founding tenet of "serving fellow villagers and returning home", play a leading role, further serve the old Xiang overseas Chinese, abide by local laws and customs, actively integrate into local society and participate in local public welfare undertakings.

Laos Hunan chamber of commerce is registered accordance with the law, with members from factories, offices and businesses represent run as a voluntary collective organization, as well as a nonprofit organizations. It also runs under the guidance of Hunan FOC,  ederation of industry and commerce, the commercial counsellor's Chinese embassy in Laos.
