Hunan OCCC held a standing council in Zhuzhou

On December 19, the third standing council of Hunan Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as "Hunan OCCC") was held in Zhuzhou. Sun Minsheng, party member and vice chairman of Hunan Federation of Overseas Chinese, Zhuang Qining, vice chairman (concurrently) of Hunan FOC and president of Hunan OCCC attended the meeting, and Mao Binghua, vice chairman (concurrently) of Hunan FOC and executive chairman of Hunan OCCC presided over the meeting.

Sun Minsheng fully affirmed the great efforts made by the OCCC since the beginning of this year in epidemic prevention and fighting, helping overseas Chinese enterprises to resume work and production, poverty alleviation and investment promotion. In the next year, he pointed out that China was about to enter the "difference" period, he hoped that thOCCC would earnestly study the spirit of general secretary Xi's speech in Hunan, review Xi's important speech spirit in overseas Chinese affairs, set up the bottom line of thinking, strategic vision and pragmatic style, innovative spirit of ideological, political entrepreneurs. Overseas Chinese entrepreneurs should closely combine their personal development with the development of the country, properly handle the relationship between personal development and group development, as well as personal value and social value, and become productive and development-oriented entrepreneurs. Hunan OCCC should further strengthen its own construction, expand its own team, and attract more outstanding entrepreneurs to join it. At the same time, the OCCC should base on the domestic and expand to the overseas, further expand the resource network, introduce more capital, technology, talents and projects for the development of Hunan, and contribute to the strength of the overseas Chinese community.

Zhuang Qining said that overseas Chinese entrepreneurs should continue to give full play to their unique advantages, help consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation, promote the rural revitalization strategy, and contribute to the high-quality economic and social development of Hunan. The Chamber would actively innovate its ideas, explore new development models of the chamber of Commerce, strengthen contacts, exchanges and cooperation between enterprises, and further establish a financing system column with relevant departments to provide strong financing support for member enterprises. As the "home of Overseas Chinese businessmen", The Chamber would always take membership services as the starting point, strive to help member enterprises accelerate the transformation and upgrading, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of member enterprises, and do a good job in providing a strong backing for the development of member enterprises.

Yao Zejun was appointed as the director of the third Council of Hunan OCCC, Hong Yafan was appointed as the standing director and vice president of the third Council of Hunan OCCC, Liu Cheng and Xiang Hui were appointed as the directors, standing director and vice president of the third Council of Hunan OCCC. Xiang Changjiang, chairman of Hunan Overseas Chinese Public Welfare Foundation and chairman of Hunan Huaxing Industrial Development Co., Ltd. was invited to be the third honorary president of Hunan OCCC.

The meeting reviewed and summarized the work of the Chamber since 2020 and arranged the work tasks for 2021. In the panel discussion, the participants discussed the platform construction, social resources integration, activity innovation and development and other topics, and put forward opinions and suggestions on the future work development of the Chamber.

During the meeting, the executive director of Hunan OCCC also visited Hunan Blue Carriage Industry Group Co., LTD., Zhuzhou Jade Jinlun Real Estate Group, Zhuzhou Economic Development zone, Yunlong demonstration zone, which laid a good foundation for strengthening contact and cooperation in the future.
