Huang Fang attended activity of Overseas Chinese in Changsha College

On the afternoon of December 29, Changsha College held the third congress of returned Overseas Chinese and their relatives. Huang Fang, secretary of the Party Committee of Hunan Federation of Overseas Chinese attended the event and made a speech.

The congress heard, deliberated and approved the work report of the second Overseas Chinese Federation Committee of Changsha College, and elected the third Overseas Chinese Federation Committee of Changsha College.

At the first meeting of the third congress of returned Overseas Chinese and their relatives of Changsha College, Liu Shichang was elected as the chairman, Ouyang Qiuzi as the executive Vice-chairman, Zeng Zhihong and Qing Feng as the vice-chairmen and Qing Feng as the Secretary-General (and concurrently).

Huang Fang congratulated on the convening of the congress and fully affirmed the work of the second committee of the congress of Changsha College. She hoped that the new committee would improve its political standing, strengthen political and ideological guidance, guide the overseas Chinese community of Changsha University to respect, abide by and use laws and laws, guide the overseas Chinese community of Changsha University to inherit the fine moral style of teachers, and draw the greatest concentric circle of solidarity among overseas Chinese community. She also pointed out that thecongress should innovate the working mechanism, give full play to the advantages of college jointly built by the province and city, strengthen the work linkage with overseas Chinese associations and communities, gradually realize the normalization and branding of the mechanism of "local Overseas Chinese communities + FOCs of colleges and universities + Alumni Association", and build the "home of Overseas Chinese". She hoped thatthe congress could give full play to its advantages, closely centering on the "three high schools and four new" strategy of Hunan, give full play to the technical talents' advantages and resources of Changsha College, promote the internationalization of running schools, tell China stories well, and strive to be a "loyal person" and a "doer" in the work of FOC.

Liu Peilin, Party secretary of Changsha College, Liu Shichang, Party committee member and Vice President of Changsha College, Chen Hui, president of Changsha FOC, heads of relevant functional departments, persons in charge of all democratic parties, and more than 100 representatives of returned overseas Chinese and their families and returned overseas students attended the meeting.
