Fishermen Embrace New Life Ashore

On January 16, Chen Qianhua, once a fisherwoman, was in her clean and tidy house in Nanjin Village, Nanjin Township, Anhua County.

Anhua county government has implemented the policy of encouraging fishermen coming ashore in recent years. All the 538 fishermen or fisherwomen in the county said goodbye to their life on boat and embraced new life ashore. The actual participation rate of the pension insurance for those who have quitted fishing was 100%, and the social security subsidy fund of 19.836 million yuan was fully granted.
