2021 theory-discussing meeting of Hunan FOC held in Changsha

On February 2, the 2021 theory-discussing meeting of Hunan FOC was held in Changsha. The meeting discussed and exchanged ideas about the work of the Hunan Federation of Overseas Chinese in 2021.Huang fang, secretary of Hunan FOC attended the meeting and made a speech. Based on the one hundredth anniversary of the federation, the meeting worked on integrating resources, advantage, for the construction of overseas Chinese home, overseas Chinese organization, and brand construction. The conferees talked about their work plan of 2021, and put forward suggestions for FOC work ideas.

In her concluding speech, Huang Fang pointed out that the work of the Federation in 2021 should focus on the overall interests of the central government and the national importance, and highlight the main line of strengthening the ideological and political guidance of overseas Chinese communities, and the two key points of assisting the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo and the series of activities of "Overseas Chinese Affecting the Party" marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.It was necessary to strengthen the linkage between the upper and lower levels, make full use of the resources of the All-China Federation of Overseas Chinese residents and the existing activities of various cities and prefectural areas to strengthen coordination, integrate resources, form joint forces, and create influential and effective activities.Deputies to the people's congresses and CPPCC members of the overseas Chinese community at the provincial, provincial and county levels will be organized in pieces to meet the requirements of contacting the grass-roots overseas people. Research could be carried out in combination with China and ASEAN and the Hunan Pilot Free Trade Zone, so as to form high-quality collective proposals from the overseas Chinese community. All FOCs should focus on the two weak links in the construction of grass-roots overseas Chinese federations and the theoretical study of overseas Chinese affairs, strengthen the work of strengthening the weak points, strengthen the training of grass-roots overseas Chinese federations cadres, part-time chairmen and members of the federations, and promote the overall improvement of the ability and work level of the provincial cadres of the federations.

As the Spring Festival is approaching, all cities and prestates' overseas Chinese federations should carry out visits to overseas Chinese and their families in various forms, such as WeChat greetings and video links, while doing a good job of epidemic prevention and control, so as to further consolidate and warm the hearts of overseas Chinese.At the same time, we should strengthen the ideological work in the overseas Chinese community, pay close attention to the dynamics of online public opinion, grasp the initiative in the ideological work, and contribute the strength of the overseas Chinese community to welcome the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
