Governor Mao Inspects Industrial Parks in Changsha, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan

Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Hunan governor, inspects industrial parks in the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Cluster on February 18. On the first working day of the Chinese New Year, Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Hunan governor, made an inspection tour to key enterprises and industrial parks in Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan. He called on industrial parks to take the lead in pursuing high-quality development while applying the new philosophy and fostering a new development pattern in the new development stage; following the guideline of “stability, progress, high level, and innovation”; implementing the “Three Highlands and Four New Missions” strategy; and, ensuring a good start and making new accomplishments.

Provincial leaders Wu Guiying, Chen Fei, and Hu Weilin, and Secretary General Wang Qun, attended the inspection.

Governor Mao inspects the Zhuzhou Phase-Lock Photoelectric Technology Co., Ltd. in the Zhuzhou Hi-tech Zone.

Governor Mao inspected the Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, Zhuzhou Hi-tech Zone, and Xiangtan Economic Development Zone, and Xiangtan Hi-tech Zone. He also visited several enterprises, including the Hunan Tianhe Guoyun Technology Co., Ltd., ACME (Advanced Corporation for Materials & Equipment), AECC South Industry Co., Ltd., Hunan Aviation Powerplant Research Institute, Phase-Lock, Schaeffler Xiangtan Co., Ltd, XEMC Group, and Xiangtan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd.

Mao heard suggestions on industrial park and zone development. He called for optimizing industrial layout; developing total factor service platform; streamlining administration and delegating powers; improving business environment; and, increasing industrial concentration and competitiveness.

Governor Mao inspects the Schaeffler Xiangtan Co., Ltd.

Mao also inspected the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan comprehensive transportation hub project planning and development.
