Scenic Areas Across Hunan Offer Discountsto Celebrate International Women’s Day

A variety of promotional activities are being offered at scenic spots across Hunan Province to celebrate the International Women’s Day which falls on March 8.

Shiyan Lake, Changsha

The scenic spot offers apackageticket prices at 38 yuan, including admission fee of the scenic spot, glass bridge, subtropical forest park, performances, folklore shows, and animal shows.

Changsha Sea World

From March 8 to 10, a themed activity will be held at the Changsha Sea World. Before each Sea Theater performance, five females will be selected randomly and presented with gifts.

Dawei Mountain, Changsha

From March 8 to 9, female tourists enjoy free entrance.

Dongjiang Lake, Chenzhou

Female visitors enjoy free entrance on March 8 (boat fare at their own expenses). Cheongsam and Hanfu shows are staged on the day.

Yangtianhu Grassland, Chenzhou

A discounted ticketpriced 38 yuan per person are offered to all visitors from March 6 to 8.

Taohuayuan Scenic Area, Changde

Female visitors enjoy a ticket at a reduced price of 38 yuan per person from March 6 to 8.

Jiashan National Forest Park, Changde

The Jiashan Scenic Area offers half-price tickets to female visitors on March 8.

Huping Mountain Canyon Scenic Area, Changde

The scenic area offers half-price tickets for single program, or 40 yuan per person, to female visitors on March 8.

Chuanyan Mountain Forest Park, Huaihua

Female tourists enjoy free entrance on March 8. Female visitors enjoy half-price tickets when taking tourism facilities for the second time.

Hongjiang Ancient Commercial Town, Huaihua

The scenic area offers half-price tickets to female visitors from March 8 to 10. The ticket is originally priced at 90 yuan per person.

Shiniuzhai National Geopark, Yueyang

Female visitors enjoy half-price tickets from February 17 to March 10.

Yan Emperor’s Mausoleum, Zhuzhou

Free or half-price tickets are offered to female visitors on March 8. Those who were born on or have marriage certificate issued on March 8 could visit the scenic area free of charge by showing valid documents.

Pushi Ancient Town, Xiangxi

A themed activity is held at Pushi Ancient Town between 9:00 and 17:30 on March 8. Female visitors enjoy a reduced package ticket priced at 38 yuan per person, including visiting five scenic spots in the town and taking sightsee bus.

Wulingyuan Scenic Area, Zhangjiajie

A flash sale of admission tickets are held between 9:00-17:00 from March 6 to 8. A total of 3,800 tickets are offered every day. The tickets could be collected at the east and south gate of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area from March 8 to 12.

Maoyan River Scenic Area, Zhangjiajie

Female visitors enjoy free entrance on March 8.

Female tourists who were born on or have their marriage certificate issued on March 8 could get gifts at the ticket office of Jiutian Cave and Maoyan River Scenic Area by showing valid documents.

Baofeng Lake, Zhangjiajie

Female visitors enjoy free entrance and half-price boat fare on March 8.
