Hunan FOC held meeting on participating political affairs

On March 9, the 2021 advisory meeting of the Committee for Participation in Political Affairs of Hunan FOC was held in Changsha.The meeting set new requirements for participation in the deliberation and administration of state affairs in 2021.Huang fang, secretary of the party group of Hunan FOC, attended the meeting and made a speech. After listening to the speeches ofmembers, Huang Fang put forward relevant ideas on some of the topics with high degree of discussion.She proposed that in terms of "innovation", Hunan FOC could start from the innovation and entrepreneurship of overseas Chinese, conduct field research to understand specific problems, and propose solutions in the form of "micro suggestions" or "Overseas Chinese News Special", so as to solve problems for overseas Chinese.In terms of rural revitalization, overseas Chinese businesses and enterprises should be encouraged to assume social responsibilities and participate in social construction and rural revitalization.In terms of overseas talents, it was necessary to focus on the problems encountered in the development process of those who have returned to China. At the same time, cities and counties should sort out their local talent introduction policies and put forward feasible suggestions for modification according to the research situation....She said that in the next stage, Committee of Participaton in Political Affairs of Hunan FOC should establish a relevant mechanism to cooperate with provincial and county level deputies to the people's congress, CPPCC members and provincial members of Hunan FOC to contact a certain number of overseas Chinese people respectively, and set up a provincial CPPCC member studio based on the "home of overseas Chinese". The Committee should combine the investigation with the activity of "learning the history of the Party and doing practical things for the masses", and put the effect of the learning and education activities of the history of the Party into the practical work.It ws hoped that deputies to the people's congresses and members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) from overseas Chinese communities would conscientiously perform their duties, actively participate in the deliberation and administration of state affairs, focus on the central task, serve the overall interests of the country, give full play to their strengths, give voice to the overseas Chinese community, and act as "spokesmen" for overseas Chinese communities.
