Hunan OCPWF held a meeting of the Council.

On the evening of March 11, the 4th Board meeting of the council of Hunan Overseas Chinese Public Welfare Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "Hunan OCPWF") was held in Longhui County, Shaoyang City.The meeting reviewed the main work of the foundation in 2020 and mapped out a work plan for 2021.

The meeting deliberated and approved the Work Report of the the council of Hunan OCPWF in 2020 (Draft) and the Financial Report of the Board in 2020.The meeting also added Ren Xiaolin, Tian Gang two directors.

"We need to define the target and target group, focus on the central task, serve the overall situation, and focus on the 'rural revitalization' and other key themes.""We should strengthen the team building of the foundation. We suggest that we cooperate with other organizations in the overseas Chinese community to carry out research activities, listen to various suggestions, and attract more caring people to join the foundation."...At the meeting, participants discussed and exchanged ideas on "Rural Revitalization", "Foundation Team Building", "Provincial Volunteer Service Leading Group Work Plan", "3A Foundation Building", "Foundation Branch Building", etc., in order to "lay out the bureau, strengthen the foundation, build the team, and improve the level" for the next stage of work.

Sun Minsheng, Party Group member and vice chairman of Hunan FOC, fully affirmed Hunan OCPWF's work in fighting the epidemic, poverty alleviation, social welfare and other aspects since 2020, and put forward new requirements for the work in 2021.He said that the development of Hunan OCPWF should be political, with the greatest interests of the country in mind, focus on its central work, remain unchanged in its direction and position, and always work under the leadership of the Party. It is needed to focus on public welfare, expand philanthropic resources, and identify people in charge of foundations at the city and prefecture levels, so that they can be linked at the provincial, provincial and county levels, so that the love will benefit more people in need.Self-discipline should be highlighted, system building and internal management should be strengthened, and foundation directors should actively support the work of foundations, offer advice and suggestions for the development of foundations, and work together to build "3A level foundations".

Xiang Changjiang, chairman of the Hunan OCPWF, said that all members of the foundation should be political and responsible, actively respond to the call of Hunan FOC, mobilize social forces, expand the board of directors, create social value, and help the really needy groups.It is hoped that with the strong support of Hunan FOC, all the directors will unite to do practical work and do good deeds, fully reflect the nature, functions and characteristics of the Foundation, and jointly make the Foundation bigger, smaller and more substantial.
