Yueyang Export-oriented Economy Achieves Good Start in First Quarter

On April 23, the “China Shipping 918” river vessel loaded with containers slowly departed from Yueyang Chenglingji New Port International Container Terminal to Chongqing. This marked the official opening of the Yueyang-Chongqing container route, which will inject new impetus into Yueyang's export-oriented economy. In the first quarter of this year, the container throughput at the Chenglingji New Port Area reached 191,000 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 89.4%.
