Li Liping, professor and vice dean of the School of Mathematics and Statistics of Hunan Normal University, was awarded the honorary title of "2021 May 4th Hunan Outstanding Youth of Overseas Chinese community".

In 2015, Li Liping returned from the United States and joined the School of Mathematics and Statistics of Hunan Normal University as a professor. He has been serving in the frontline work of teaching, scientific research and school management.
