Wen Jin: employ science and technology to serve local industries

Wen Jin, vice dean of School of Materials and Environmental Engineering of Hunan University of Humanities and Science, won the honorary title of "May 4th 2021 Hunan Outstanding Youth of Overseas Chinese community".

"Thanks for the recognition and I will keep going." Wen Jin, who has been nominated as the 2021 May 4th Hunan outstanding youth of overseas Chinese community, felt very proud. She told reporters that the pressure on their shoulders into a driving force to move forward, continue to work hard to use science and technology to serve the local industry.

As Xinhua technology experts corps colonel, over the years, Wen Jin has been focused on xinhua poverty engines work, adhere to the service industry as the leading factor, to provide intelligence by means of consulting, deep poverty and the production line, for the enterprise and the masses, and provide comprehensive and meticulous service of science and technology.

More than 100 training sessions of farming skill have been held, and nearly 6,000 farmers have been trained. A large number of qualified baby-caregivers, housekeepers, Chinese pastry chefs, Chinese cooking chefs and tea masters have been trained. Under the new requirements brought by the epidemic prevention and control situation, the science and technology service group held the live broadcast with goods and other fashionable training, to promote the quality and excellence of the science and technology poverty alleviation industry. On the other hand, the science and technology poverty alleviation expert service group of Xinhua County organized experts to carry out agricultural practical technology training in poverty-stricken villages.

A total of more than 200 times of agricultural application technology training were carried out in poverty-stricken villages. A total of more than 15,000 farmers were trained. Nearly 10 new varieties were introduced, bringing "good news" to the local people.

Wen Jin said that in the following "14th Five-Year Plan" period, "I will lead the team to combine my own professional advantages, continue to provide scientific and technological services for the advanced ceramic industry in Loudi, and help the rural revitalization."
