On May 13th, "Chitan primary school" opening ceremony and Hunan FOC support team farewell ceremony was held in Chitan village, Anren county, Chenzhou city. Huang Fang, party group secretary of Hunan FOC, Sun Minsheng and Li Zuyuan, party group member and vice-chairman of Hunan FOC, attended the event.

According to Liu Ying, secretary of the party group and director of the education bureau of Anren County, the "Chitan Primary School" has a total investment of 2 million yuan, a total construction area of 665 square meters, planning three classes and 120 students. The completion of "Chitan Primary School" will lay the foundation for Chitan Village children to share quality educational resources.

Cao Yuxiang, secretary of Chitan village Committee, said that the support team dedicated with enthusiasm and solid work measures to help the village explore the development path, promote the construction of infrastructure and improve traffic conditions for its poverty alleviation project. The construction of leisure square and Chitan primary school has enriched the life of the villagers and enhanced the sense of happiness and gain of the people. It is hoped that the leaders and support teams of the provincial federation of overseas Chinese will regard Chitan village as their second hometown and often come back to visit it in the future.

Four years of time, the support team in the village helped turning muddy, winding paths into safe, smooth concrete roads, through which buses entered the village, and opened up the communication between the village and the outside world.
