Hunan Delegation Visits Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region

On May 22 and 23, the Hunan delegation made an inspection tour to Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The photo above shows Chen Run’er, CPC Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional Committee secretary and of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional People's Congress Standing Committee director, and Mao Weiming, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee deputy secretary and Hunan governor, visited the Ningxia Museum on May 22.



On May 22, Chen Run’er and Mao Weiming inspected the Yuanshi Vineyard.



On May 23, Mao Weiming and Xian Hui, CPC Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional Committee deputy secretary and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region president, learned about the Baofeng Group’s agricultural and optical integration project.

On May 22 and 23, the Hunan delegation visited Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region for study and inspection. This was to implement the spirit of the important speech made by President Xi Jinping when inspecting Hunan and Ningxia, and to jointly write a new chapter in Hunan-Ningxia cooperation. Chen Run’er, CPC Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional Committee secretary and the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional People's Congress Standing Committee director; Mao Weiming, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee deputy secretary and Hunan governor; and, Xian Hui, CPC Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional Committee deputy secretary and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region president, participated in the inspection.

Xie Jianhui, CPC Hunan Provincial Standing Committee member and executive vice governor; Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional leaders Zhao Yongqing, Zhang Zhu, Wu Xiuzhang, and Chen Chunping; and Wang Qun, Hunan Provincial People’s Government secretary general, joined the inspection.

During the inspection tour, Governor Mao asked to give priority to ecology and adhere to green development; strengthen Hunan-Ningxia new energy cooperation; accelerate industrial agglomeration; and, achieve high-quality development. He called for implementing peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality; promoting change in energy mix; and, establish a clean energy supply system with diversified and coordinated development. It is necessary to explore the mechanism of transforming clear waters and green mountains into invaluable assets; strengthen ecological restoration and management and environmental protection; and, provide the people with more high-quality ecological products. We should further reforms to streamline administration and delegate power; improve the facilitation level of government services; and, continue to create a market-oriented, rule-of-law, and international first-class business environment, he added.
