In 1953, Mr. Luo Huasheng returned from Malaysia. Different from the overseas sons who come back to study and devote themselves to the construction of the motherland, Luo Huasheng's return to China was helpless. Sixty-eight years later, Luo Huasheng is filled with gratitude when he recalls the past.

After returning to China, Luo Huasheng and his father received meticulous care from the CPC and the government. They finished their studies successfully, and were always grateful and dedicated. In Luo Huasheng's words, "My return was passive, but I am lucky and happy."

"Back then, Malaysia was a British colony and the Communist Party of Malaysia actively organized people to fight against colonialism for national independence. My father was tipped off by the British colonial authorities for his participation in trade union activities organised on the fringes of the Malaysian Communist Party, and was later deported." Luo recalled the fate which happened to his father and hastened his return to China.

In 1951, the Chinese government used the "Guanghua ship" to repatriate a group of impoverished overseas Chinese. Luo Huasheng's father was one of them. As an overseas Chinese, Luo Huasheng's father attended a government-organized training program and got a job. After several toss-ups, he finally settled down.

"After my father settled himself, he wrote many times to ask my mother to take my grandmother, my sister and me back to China for a reunion. But the grandmother who used to lead poor life in the Mei county, insisted on staying in Malaysia. My mother, as my father's wife, resolutely took me and my sister back to China." In April 1953, Luo Huasheng was reunited with his father in Nanyu Town, Minhou County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, after traveling thousands of miles on a sea ship with his mother. Since then, Luo Huasheng has grown up healthily in many cares and cares.

When Luo Huasheng was a student, everything went well and he took part in the "Four Qing" work in the countryside. He performed well in the "Three Harmony" with the poor, the poor and the middle peasants, but he lost some opportunities because of his status as a returned overseas Chinese. However, Luo Huasheng still worked hard and actively, and formed a "Communist Long March Team" with a dozen of his classmates. They took their legs east to Hai Lu Feng and Peng Pai's hometown to carry out investigations of the peasant movement. He also went north to Changting, Ruijin and other old revolutionary base areas as well as Jinggangshan, a red base area, to learn about revolutionary history and learn from revolutionary predecessors.

The 194 li journey from Ganzhou to Suichuan at the foot of Jinggang Mountain made Luo Huasheng deeply feel the hardship of the revolutionary predecessors' struggle.

In December 1968, Luo Huasheng was assigned to Hunan, where he spent nearly a year and a half in the 47th Army's reclamation farm. "If I participated in the work of the Qing Dynasty in the countryside, it is a kind of experience, but compared with the army, it is nothing, nothing." Luo Huasheng still recalls the cold wind in the past, after picking up mud from the channel can not deliver food to the entrance scene, hands can not help but shiver.

"People often say that the People's Liberation Army is the melting pot of the revolution. After nearly a year and a half of forging in the melting pot, I have realized the true meaning of it. This is the reason why the people's army is able to overcome all difficulties and invincible." Luo's eyes were full of admiration.

As a "returned overseas Chinese", one may lose some opportunities and gain some opportunities.

In April 1970, according to the government's policy, the returned overseas Chinese students were given special care. In this way, Luo Huasheng left Nanwan Lake in Yuanjiang City and became a teacher in Shitan District No. 1 Middle School (now Xiangtan County No. 2 Middle School). He tried his best to overcome the language difficulties, compiled textbooks for students to make up the pinyin class, improve the ability of students to study by themselves, carefully teach each student, cultivate useful talents for the motherland. In addition, Luo Huasheng pays special attention to the combination of school education and family education, and often makes home visits on weekends. With the arrival of Luo Huasheng and his colleagues, the faculty has been significantly improved, loved by the students, but also get a lot of honor. In 1994, Luo Huasheng was transferred to the Xiangtan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and retired in March 2004. This was the first time that Luo Huasheng came into contact with the "Federation of Overseas Chinese" and really understood the "overseas Chinese" community and served for them.

"As a returned overseas Chinese, I have an innate special relationship with the majority of returned overseas Chinese and their families. I have done my best to carry out liaison activities and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of returned overseas Chinese, and have been widely praised. I have been in close contact with them for nearly 20 years since I abdicated, and my relationship with them continues to grow.

Now, Luo Huasheng has lived a happy old age, he is full of smiles, said: "I am a returned overseas Chinese, back to the warm embrace of the motherland, happily enjoy the care and care 'she' to give. I sincerely thank the Party, the government and the great motherland!"

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Looking back, Luo Huasheng is deeply touched by his 60 or 70 years of experience. He said that as a return from overseas, I deeply understand that without the Communist Party of China, there is no great motherland, there is no everything now. Now that I am nearly 80 years old, I am still determined to give full play to my spare energy and strive for the realization of the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
