Changsha Huaqiao Water Purification Plant Phrase III Starts Trail Operation

On June 23 morning, the Changsha Huaqiao Water Purification Plant Phrase III started trail operation after reconstruction and expansion. Its daily sewage treatment capacity increased by 100,000 tons to 460,000 tons, making it the largest sewage treatment plant in the area on the east of the Xiangjiang River, in Changsha. The plant is located at Lituo Township, Yuhua District, Changsha. Its total planned sewage treatment capacity is 860,000 tons per day. Its service area covers about 88 square kilometers, serving about 1.66 million people.
