China Youth Prints Exhibition Held in Changsha

The 6th China Youth Prints Exhibition is held in Changsha.

The 6th China Youth Prints Exhibition opened at the Meilun Art Museum in Changsha on October 30, and will last until December 12. A total of 252 printmaking works are on display.

The exhibition provides a high-level platform for Chinese young printmaking artists to compete, show themselves, and encourage creativity. A number of pioneers in printmaking art participate in the exhibition, presenting Chinese youth artists' artistic, academic, and pioneering ability.

The exhibition, specialized in printmaking art of Chinese youth artists, is coincide with and complementary to the Guanlan International Print Biennial and the Chinese Printmaking Exhibition . These exhibitions have jointly promoted printmaking art in China and even around the world.

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Chinese Youth Prints Exhibition, this session is planned by Prof. Kang Jianfei from the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). The 252 exhibits were selected from nearly 3,000 entries by Chinese youth artists.

The exhibition is co-hosted by the China Guanlan Original Printmaking Base, the China Printmaking Museum, and the Hunan Fine Arts Publishing House, and undertaken by the Meilun Arts Museum. It opens to the public free of charge. Visitors are required to wear masks and collaborate with the staff for the anti-epidemic measures.
