Changsha to issue additional food vouchers at 11 O’clock, December 8

The Changsha Municipal Bureau of Commerce announced that, the Organizing Committee of the “Taste of Hunan” Changsha Gourmet Food Season decided to issue additional food vouchers worth 600,000 yuan at 11 o’clock on December 8, 2021, in an effort to benefit more consumers. Citizens who have failed to get the vouchers in the first four rounds will have a chance again to get them, via the WeChat mini-program “Taste of Hunan-Changsha Taste [味道湖南长沙味道]”.

Issuing food vouchers has brought consumers a full sense of gain, and played a significant role in boosting consumption. From November 10 to December 1, Changsha launched a citywide “Taste of Hunan” Changsha Gourmet Food Season consumption promotion activity, with food vouchers offered. The vouchers can be used at more than 300 catering outlets, including Yuloudong Restaurant, Chef Fei Restaurant, Fire God Palace Restaurant, Tianrantai Restaurant, Laoxujia Stir-fried Preserved Pork with Garlic, and Tianbao Brothers.

During the ongoing food season, many catering enterprises in Changsha have launched supporting preferential activities to benefit consumers, said a person with the municipal bureau of commerce. Forty “Changsha famous dishes” are competing for the 100 “Famous Hunan Dishes” online. Citizens are welcome to participate in the online voting.
