2021 Top 100 Hunan enterprises announced

The 2021 Hunan Entrepreneur Activity Day and Entrepreneurs’ Annual Conference were held on December 14. At the conference, the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Hunan Federation of Enterprises and Industrial Economy announced the 2021 Top 100 Hunan Enterprises, and the 2021 Top 100 Manufacturers in Hunan Province, and the 2021 Top 50 Service Enterprises in Hunan Province, and the 22nd Hunan Province Enterprise Management Modernization and Innovation Achievements. The 2021 Hunan Corporate Social Responsibility Report was issued.

The 2021 Top 100 Hunan Enterprises were selected based on the operating income in 2020. Hunan Valin Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. topped the list with 152.021 billion yuan; China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd., Sany Group, and China Tobacco Hunan Industrial Corporation ranked second, third, and fourth with 148.375 billion, 125.317 billion, and 103.02 billion yuan respectively. Lens Technology Co., Ltd. and Hunan Construction Engineering Group ranked fifth and sixth, with operating income of 99.013 billion and 98.573 billion yuan respectively.

Hunan Valin Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., Sany Group, China Tobacco Hunan Industrial Corporation, Lens Technology Co., Ltd., and Zoomlion are among the top five of the top 100 manufactures in Hunan. State Grid Hunan Electric Power Co., Ltd., Dahan Group, Sinopec Group Hunan Branch, Better Life Group, and Changsha Bank have been listed among the top five of the top 50 service companies in Hunan.

At the meeting, 92 innovative achievements in enterprise management modernization were released and promoted, demonstrating the new characteristics, new trends, and new models of enterprise management in the province, such as independent and controllable supply chain construction and the development featuring dual circulation; scientific and technological achievements transformation and intellectual property rights management; mixed ownership development and talent incentives; and, digital transformation and business model innovation.

The Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Hunan Provincial Tax Service Administration awarded plaques to 11 firms that signed cooperative compliance programs. The "Cooperative Compliance Programs" are a typical internationally effective practice of tax service and management for large enterprises. It is of great significance to promote enterprise self-compliance management and control, save tax collection costs, and explore a new way of "credit + risk" supervision.
