Overseas returnees town project starts construction in Changsha

The Western Returned Scholars Association (WRSA) Overseas Returnees Town (Changsha Intelligent Manufacturing) Project started construction in Wangcheng District, Changsha on December 28. The Overseas Returnees Town is jointly created by the Changsha Municipal People’s Government and WRSA for overseas returnees and high-level talents. It is positioned as a modern new town that is ecological, intelligent, vibrant, livable and business-friendly.

The newly-started project part is included in the core area of the town. Thirty-three projects worth about 16 billion yuan were arranged. Enterprises including the China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) Second Harbor Engineering Company Changsha Headquarters Base and the Konka Group Central China Regional Headquarters were attracted to settle in.
