Zhangjiajie-Jishou-Huaihua high-speed railway passenger trips hit 49,000

Between December 31, 2021 and January 3, 2022, the China Railway Guangzhou Group had handled 5.484 million passenger trips. The peak day was on January 1, 2022. A total of 287,000 passenger trips starting from, or arriving at, the Changsha South Railway Station were seen on that day.

This was the first holiday after the opening of the Zhangjiajie-Jishou-Huaihua High-speed Railway. It had greatly facilitated passengers to visit their families and go for a travel. The passenger trips on this new high-speed railway hit 49,000 during the three-day New Year holiday.

In order to better serve the passengers, Hunan’s railway stations have taken efforts to improve their service facilities, and the security, guidance, and service signs. The Changsha South Railway arranged volunteers and increased ticket inspectors to ensure sufficient service at the station. The Changsha Railway Station provided special services for elderly passengers, assisting them in self-service ticket booking and pickup, real-name registration, and ticket check.
