2022 Spring Festival travel rush starts

On January 17, more than 40 Communist Party of China (CPC) members, Chinese Communist Youth League (CCYL) members, and young volunteers served passengers at the Waiting Hall of the Changsha Railway Station. They answered passengers’ inquiries, helped special passengers get on the train, distributed masks and alcohol prep pads, and publicized knowledge of epidemic prevention. They hope to make passengers' homebound trips more comfortable and safer.

A cultural public welfare activity was launched at the station that day, to send New Year blessings to passengers and railway staff in advance. Calligraphers from the Guangzhou Railway Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Guangzhou Railway Calligraphers Association, and the Hunan Calligraphers Association were invited to write Spring Festival couplets and Chinese character “fu” for passengers.
