Exhibition of relics of the Han dynasty in Shandong area opens in Changsha

The exhibition entitled “To dominate the East -- Exhibition of Relics of the Han Dynasty in Shandong Area” opened at the Special Exhibition Hall 1, Changsha Museum on January 28. It features 235 pieces of cultural relics in 163 sets unearthed from the latest and most important archaeological discoveries in Shandong area during the Han Dynasty (202 B.C. to 220 A.D.).

Taking the material culture as the main line, the exhibition reveals the glorious history of Shandong area during the Han Dynasty from the aspects of political enfeoffment, prosperity of all industries, life of royals and nobles, and cultural exchanges.

The exhibition is open to the public free of charge, and will last until May 4, 2022.
