The number of registered users of the app “My Changsha” reached 6.055 million as of 16:00 on February 21, meaning three out of every five Changsha residents are using the app.

To accelerate the building of a “city of handling government service affairs online” and a “24-hour digital government”, the Changsha municipal government officially launched the app on November 27, 2019. The app is committed to creating an online urban service terminal for Changsha residents, and making digitalized development better benefit the public.

As Changsha’s only official urban comprehensive mobile service platform, the app “My Changsha” has been caring about the needs of citizens, and aimed to built itself into a one-stop comprehensive service platform covering all kinds of affairs that citizens may need to handle. It has offered services for more than 226 million times, and connected with 91 municipal service units. There are 1,794 service items available on the app, including government services, public services and social services. Among them, 438 items can be handled online throughout the process, covering multiple application scenarios such as livelihood, public security, transportation, medical and health care, and talent education. So far, more than 14.9 million subway rides, over 10.43 million social security inquiries, and more than 5.57 million bus rides have been made via the app. Most of citizens' affairs in their daily life, study and work can be handled online through the app.

Against the backdrop of epidemic prevention and control, the app “My Changsha” has built an epidemic prevention zone or column. It offers one-stop scientific epidemic prevention and control services, including common anti-epidemic services, vaccination and nucleic acid testing, and epidemic updates. To further promote social governance at the grassroots level, the app has integrated services at the municipal, district (or county), subdistrict (or town), and community levels. It has launched special service zones for Changsha’s 6 districts, 2 county-level cities and 1 county, as well as the Changsha High-tech Development Zone. High-frequency service items at municipal level including provident fund inquiry, social security inquiry, and household service can be shared across the city.
