Hunan 5G application ecology industrial park opens

The opening ceremony of the Hunan 5G Application Ecology Industrial Park was held on April 23. A brand signing and promotion meeting was held simultaneously. Peng Huasong, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee and executive vice mayor of Changsha, attended the ceremony and visited the Hunan Mobile 5G Project site.

The industrial park was jointly constructed by the China Mobile Communications Group Hunan Co., Ltd., the People's Government of Furong District, and the Hunan Sanxiang Nanhu Grand Market Industrial Corporation. The project takes mature urban areas, community population, and 20 industries and 6,000 businesses of the Hunan Sanxiang Nanhu Grand Market Industrial Corporation as application scenarios. It is committed to building a complete 5G application ecology chain and a 5G application ecology zone integrating 5G application scenario exhibition, development and research, evaluation and promotion, and property transactions.

Executive Vice Mayor Peng Huasong noted that, in recent years, Changsha has stood at the cusp of 5G development and built the first Changsha-made Xiangjiang Kunpeng server. It has become a node city of the global blockchain service network. The 5G integrated application has become an important engine driving Changsha’s digital, networked and intelligent transformation. He said that Changsha’s 5G industry chain will usher in a new round of development. He hoped to take this event as an opportunity to work together to build the industrial park brand and boost the 5G  industry agglomeration development. Changsha will focus on the needs of development; pay close attention to the demands of enterprises; continue to deepen the reform of streamlining administration and delegating power, improving regulation and upgrading services; and, provide high-quality government affairs services and create a first-class business environment for the development of industrial parks. All these efforts will inject strong momentum into the implementation of the Strategy of “Strengthening the Provincial Capital”, and facilitate Changsha’s high-quality development.
