The
photos, taken May 7, show visitors watching an exhibition entitled
“Flowers and Birds -- Zou Chuan’an Art and Literature Exhibition” at the
Hunan Museum. The exhibition, which was hosted by the museum, opened
that day. More than 300 pieces or sets of calligraphy and painting works
and documents are displayed. Meanwhile, the artist donated his 399
representative works to the museum at the opening ceremony. Zou
Chuan’an is one of Hunan’s leading figures in contemporary
flower-and-bird claborate-style painting. His unique painting style has
led a group of domestic painters in the claborate-style painting genre,
and laid a foundation for the contemporary transformation of Chinese
