China (Hunan) International Mineral and Gem Expo opens

On July 8, the 10th China (Hunan) International Mineral and Gem Expo (CMGE) opened at the Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. With the theme of "Amazing Mineral Crystals and Rare Tungsten Ore", the expo offered both online and offline interactions. The offline exhibition covers nearly 60,000 square meters. Nearly 1,000 international standard booths and 42 special ones were set up. The online exhibition is displayed through the app "矿博云 (Mineral and Gem Expo Cloud)", with 30 VR booths and 500 standard booths provided. Simultaneously, various activities would be held such as a summit forum, earth science education tours, science population lectures, visits to Academician Li Xingxue's former residence, a mineral crystal auction, and a livestreaming promotion campaign via the Mineral and Gem Expo Cloud.
