Changsha Overfulfills Major Project Investment Target in H1

Changsha's industrial parks and zones are deploying and accelerating the progress of the projects in the second half of this year in an all-round way, in a bid to greet the 20th CPC National Congress with outstanding achievements.

The construction of Shibang Industrial Park Project Phase II, located at No. 70, Nantang Road, Changsha High-tech Zone, is in full swing. Also in the zone, builders are stepping up construction of projects including Zoomlion Intelligent Industrial Town, San'an Phase II, and Changyuan Lico Phase II. In the first half of this year, 28 projects were newly started and 17 ones were completed.

According to statistics, the city's 1,766 major projects completed an investment of 266.7 billion yuan from January to June, fulfilling over half of the annual target.

There are a number of industrial park projects undertaking the role of industrial agglomeration at industrial parks and zones in Changsha, including the Beauty Makeup Valley in Ningxiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, and the Intelligent Terminal Industrial Park and the Changsha Medical Device Industrial Park in Wangcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone. With the completion of these projects, Changsha's industrial parks and zones have focused on strengthening and complementing industry chains and are accelerating their pace of investment attraction.

"More than 10 enterprises have signed agreements to settle in the Beauty Makeup Valley. In addition, investment negotiations are underway with several enterprises including Guangzhou Weitai Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Chutian Huaxing Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd," said a person responsible for investment attraction of the Beauty Makeup Valley. The first phase of the Beauty Makeup Valley has a total investment of 950 million yuan and a land area of 375 mu (25 ha.). Fourteen buildings have completed construction.

After a busy construction period, the Changsha Medical Device Industrial Park on Tengfei Road has passed acceptance inspection. It will be put into operation in August.

Not long ago, four new projects were signed at the Liuyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, bringing the zone's total number of projects signed in 2022 to 66.
