2022 Internet Yuelu Summit to Open in Changsha on August 31

On August 24, the official WeChat account of Internet Yuelu Summit announced that the 2022 Internet Yuelu Summit will open in Changsha on August 31.

The summit is co-hosted by the Office of the Hunan Cyberspace Affairs Commission, the Development and Reform Commission of Hunan Province, the Department of Science and Technology of Hunan Province, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hunan Province, the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province, and the Management Committee of Hunan Xiangjiang New Area.

Themed "Innovation-oriented Changsha Toward A Digital Future", the summit will hold 8 thematic forums, including "Sci-tech Innovation Leads to A Digital Future", "Strengthening Provincial Capital and Intellectual Manufacturing", and "Digitalization Empowers Enterprises with Profession, Refinement, Characteristics, and Novelty". It aims to seize high-quality development opportunities and quickly deploy artificial intelligence, digital economy, and other strategic emerging and future industries. It will be built into a communication and sharing platform for domestic and foreign Internet industry leaders, experts and scholars, industry elites, entrepreneurs, and other related people to discuss new trends in the development of the Internet industry.

This year marks the ninth session of the Internet Yuelu Summit. It has become an attractive calling card of Changsha and even Hunan. The summit has witnessed many important moments in the development of the new economy represented by the Internet, and is attracting more and more industry elites across China and around the world. It has become an important platform for building consensus in the industry and for digital economy enterprises to communicate and cooperate.

Changsha City, capital of Hunan Province, is taking advantage of implementing the Strategy of "Strengthening the Provincial Capital" to push forward based on the digital economic development. In 2021, the total digital economy of Changsha reached nearly 400 billion yuan, ranking 12th among the Top 100 cities regarding the development of digital economy and among the new first-tier cities in the digital economy.
